client connection failed,pls help!

Hi all,
I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 Server on a Sun(Solaris6),then I installed Oracle8.1.7 Client on an other Sun (Solaris8)and on a NT-Workstation. The NT-Box can run sqlplus to connect the server without problem, but the sun-client got the error:
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist.
The Sun-Client can ping the server and tnsping the service on the server with no problem.So i guess the tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora are configured correctly.
I know the questions about the error "ORA-12525" has been asked here 1000 times, and i readed really almost the all postings of them,but i don't get my problem resolved. What I'm wondering is,why the client on NT works and the solaris client not.
