VOICE PROCESSING PROGRAMMER: Los Angeles, CA Design, implement, port & debug computer programs for voice response unit (VRU) applications.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - PRIMARY/FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES (MOST ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS)
All aspects of computer program design, implementation and support utilizing
the "C" language.
Programs are written to run in-house to operate and report voice-processing systems using dialogic hardware and "c" libraries and other related VRU applications.
Porting of existing applications to new platforms as above. Documentation of new and existing applications. Percentage of time working on the above is very variable and depends on current company needs.REQUIRED SKILLS:
Dialogic "c" library calls on SCO UNIX and NT. Program development using various application generators. Specific experience with Apex and Dec Voice VRU systems and development. "C" language expertise.
DEC VMS and DCL experience.
DEC Unix, SCO UNIX and NT environments.
Real time telecommunications call processing. Structured design philosophy.
Written communication skills.
5+ years "C" experience
