I've managed to install Oracle Server on RH 6.1. All is well and the sample database is running ok.
Now I want to install the Internet Application server and the pre
installation tasks are not clear to me. I have synchronised my SID with the
database name as instructed but I do not konow what has to be added to the
tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files..
Aparantly they have to be updated to listen for external procedures...do
they not do this allready.
