Post-Doctoral Researcher in Applied Robotics
The NSERC Chair in Mining Automation at Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal
has an
immediate opening for a postodoctoral researcher for a period of one or
two years.
This researcher will participate to ongoing project in robotics applied
to mining operations, in particular in the areas of autonomous
navigation and/or
human-machine interfaces for teleoperation.
The successful candidate will satisfy the following requirements:
- a completed Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, obtained within the last 5 years from an accredited university, preferably in the area of automation,
- a strong background in robotic control, and an experience with mobile robots or manipulators,
- strong software development skills,
- fluency in English or French.
Salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and usual university standards.
