Connectie via ODBC with internal Personal Oracle Database

I am a novice Oracle user, but I am experienced with databases and
programming in general.


I want to setup an ODBC connection with my internal Personal Oracle 8.1.5
database running on Windows 98.


For this to happen, I have to know the connect string (and configure the
Net8 client and listener somehow).


Can anybody give me some ideas on how to do this.
I am able to connect to the server database at my client, but not to my
local database.



Please help, so I can fool around with the internal database without messing
up de Oracle database of my client.
