Oracle EE 8.0.6 compliant with Solaris 2.8 ???

I have a very simple question, but I can't find a conclusive answer from Oracle on this one. My question is:

Is Oracle EE 8.0.6 compliant with Sun SPARC Solaris 2.8?

I just downloaded the Oracle EE 8.0.6.1.1 patchset and the system requirements asked for a Solaris-version 2.5.1, 2.6 or 2.7. Solaris-version 2.8 is never mentioned. Personally I don't expect any problems but it sure feels nice if Oracle could agree with me on that one.
