ORACLE DBA NEEDED

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR NEEDED My client company, located in Upstate NY, has asked us to assist them in locating candidates for the following position. The company is a world renown manufacturing firm with top benefits and salaries.

Oracle DBA
Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
*Configure and manage multiple Oracle database
environments.
*Support the development and implementation of:
 *Determine requirements and make
 recommendations for automated DBA tools  *Develop processes and procedures for
 performance and tuning plan
 *Develop operations procedures
 *Develop and implement database security  scheme
 *Maintain user access privileges to all  database instances
*Provide technical support for Designer Developer 2000
*Provide Oracle technical support to site DBA's as
required to support implementation of Oracle application software and related tools.

Skills and Experience:
*BS Degree in applied science with 3 years experience or
equivalent
*In-depth understanding of distributed Oracle database
environment, SQL Net database links, Oracle Names, triggers and stored procedures, within UNIX environment
*Provide ongoing Oracle DBA support for the multiple
application configurations of the Oracle Manufacturing application software
*Good written communication skills
*Good verbal communication skills
*Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP)
*Good problem solving skills
*Ability to function as part of a team.
