  I am also having the same problem i.e. error message shows up with the OAS4.07EE,
  U are talking abt a patch, where is this patch available. if on technet.oracle.com then which part of the website exactly..

regarding good docs on OAS have a look at the website www.tusc.com. This website has a link called Free Downloads at the top right corner. U will find lots of info on how to use OAS with loads of Code snippets..
