ACM SIGMOD has just released a major new publication, the 7-CDROM SIGMOD Digital Library. Now you can conveniently browse all the papers from past proceedings from three conferences, SIGMOD, PODS, and VLDB, utilizing full-text search to locate relevant papers, which can be printed out directly from the CDROM. You can free up literally several shelves of your book cases. You can view full video of keynote addresses, including one by Bill Gates. You can search and read the papers at your home, office, or while traveling (the Digital Library weighs only fourteen ounces).

The Digital Library is sent free to all SIGMOD members.

SIGMOD members will also receive, free next spring, a comparable number of CDROMs containing the proceedings of seven other conferences, two database journals, and several books, all as searchable PDF files, totalling 70,000 pages of material.

A copy of the Digital Library is free to all new members. Note that ACM membership is *not* required to join SIGMOD, so the total cost of membership is only $20 (student membership is an even better deal at $12).

So that you can start searching for papers relevant to your interests, just click on "Add to Shopping Cart". It will take only a minute to initiate your membership.

We're looking forward to having you with us as a member.
