SQLTables Synonym

Hi all,
I have an oracle 7.3 system I am accessing through ODBC. I know I can get a list of the synonyms, and a list of the tables, but would it be possible for the Oracle ODBC driver to match the synonyms to tables. Perhaps put the table name in the remarks field when I query based on synonyms?
