About every other time I use the search function, starting from nav.html in the Oracle 8 documentation, it causes Netscape (4.6) to freeze. This allways seems to happen when it is seaching "task page", ie. it searches for a while, then it is very quiet. In Internet explorer (4.01) it does not work at all.

Java is fine when it works, but a real pain when it does not, perhaps Oracle has been somewhat quick to take it on. Another thing, while we are on the subject of documentation, why use html when most files are approaching 400-500 K?. You search, end up at the top of one of these enourmous pages, and then have to use edit/find within that page, retyping your search criteria. I have problems beliving the doc is really so userunfriendly, is there something I have missed.

Any suggestions?
