New Twist on ORA3113

I have seen countless posts on 3113 errors, but none quite seem to have the bizarre twists that this one does.

We are running Oracle 8.0.4 on the Server, and I have had this problem with 8.0.4 client and 8.0.5 client in NT.

Whenever I return a large result set from a join or subquery, any subsequent database operation results in a 3113 error. If the result set is a small amount of records, everything is fine. The developer who sits next to me is running Win95, and he has no such problems. We are on the same hub. Other NT clients on our hub have the same problem I have found. I moved my machine to another part of the building where another NT developer has a few disconnect issues, but not nearly as many, and it still did not work.

There must be something in the configuration of the client that would cause this (I sure hope so). This problem occurs in Delphi w/BDE, SQL-Plus, TOAD, and straight ODBC (ODBC Test).

I am clueless. Thanks for any help
