Bruce ... I know this is a little late ... but it is a good idea to change the default tablespace for the SYS user to a new tablespace like say REP before running CATREP ... this will prevent an inflated DEFTRAN (actually underlying base tables) from blowing out your SYSTEM tablespace ...
