Hi,

We have an application that uses 2 Oracle 8.0.4 databases. When the databases are on 2 NT servers all is ok, but when we put the databases on the same box we get NT error 2 messages (file not found). Not always, just about 30% of the time.

Users access the application through Cold Fusion generated pages from IIS and get the data from both databases. We also get some 232 and 190 pipe messages, but these have been there and don't seem to cause much trouble. Our protocols are tcp/ip and named pipes.

The user will usually not get the 'nt error 2' message the second time that they access the application.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
