Hi!
My local database has to detect is my remote database (dial in-proxy)
online/offline.
SQL*Net dead connection detection expire_time is minimally 1 minute.
I have tried to use ping. It is fine if the line is alive, but if the
line is down, proxy tries to dial and to establish a connection. This
lasts for mor than 30 sec.,and I need response fast.
