Selecting column of long datatype

I am working with both Sybase and Oracle. In Sybase I can select a column of type text with no problem. In Oracle type text is type long. When I try to select it I get inconsistent data type error. How do you select a column of type long in Oracle? Received on Mon Sep 14 1998 - 23:26:21 CEST
