[q] exporting attched tables to new location using Access8.0 <-> Oracle

Hi all.

I got the following problem:

There is an oracle Database V7.3. An Access8.0 Application is used as a frontend to access the data in the Oracle DB (via attached tables). The ODBC driver that comes with Oracle7.3 provides the connection between Access8.0 and Oracle.

It is necessary to export an attached table from Access to a different Access DB. And here now is the problem. After the export the table in the new Access DB appears also as an attached table. It should appear as a normal unattached Access Table.

The funny thing is that, using Access7.0, everything works fine and the exported table will be exported to an unattached table. Only with Access8.0 the exported table remains an attached table.

Can anybody help?
