Hello,

i experiance some problems when creating database from the very beginning.
I don't want to use the database which Oracle creates along the installation.
So i delete everything, and try to create all from the zero.

First, i learned that there's very valuable file SQL.BSQ which i heard nothing
of from any documentation. Alright, with this file i managed to create empty database.

Then i decided that i should pass to Oracle file CATALOG.SQL to make up the
dictionary. It seemed to work ok.

But now, when i run SQL*Plus and connect to the database it bursts with messages like 'package DBMS_STANDARD must be created before using PL/SQL'
and 'error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO'.

I guess i still have to run some standard scripts from $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
but i don't know which exactly.

I will appreciate any help,

Thank you,
Igor Sereda

PS. I am using Oracle WG server 7.3.2.2.0 for Solaris x86.
