My name is Andy and I am currently doing an assignment in university with
regards to Oracle performance tuning.
Could anybody (please) point me towards some documents on :-
1> The effects of adding an index to a table.
2> The differences between cost and rule based optimisation.
n.b. I am using Oracle 7.1.3 (I believe)
