I'm just repeating what I read elsewhere:

It's probably possible, but I would'nt do it...

AVI files are BIG, and your database performance will plunge, when handling records several MB's big. All literature I've studied so far (MS Press, Magazines) all say that you'll end up better off keeping big records out of your database.
