I used Oracle, The Complete Reference from Oracle Press. It has examples for lots of stuff, but no actual exercises. It also has a fairly complete list and description of commands and terms. Also included is most of the data dictionary views and what they contain. It's not a great book, but it is a very useful book especially if you generaly know how relational databases work.
