Converting dbf files into Oracle

I need to convert dbf files from a clipper application into Oracle
databases. I exported the dbf files into ascii files using dbu.exe,
however all content of the memo fields gets lost. So it's no use.
The alternative is to write a programm which writes me an ascii file for
import into Oracle. Since I have to convert numerous databases this
would be very time consuming.
Is there any smarter way.
