New to Oracle Reports Questions

ADVICE FOR Oracle Reports 2.5
We are just beginning a project using Oracle Reports 2.5.5.2.7. Is their any friendly advice about using it?

With highly Normalized databases
Runing REPORTS on a UNIX (AIX) platform?
Called from PL/SQL programs?
Using multiple SQL queries
