Here at Oracle we're looking for performance engineers to help staff the Strategic Benchmarking Group. We serve as RDBMS tuning experts in competitive situations against other database vendors, where alot of money is typically on the line. We work on the latest big servers and configurations from almost all hardware vendors, and focus on utilizing efficiently the latest in Oracle versions and technology. Our areas of focus are:

      Very Large Databases (VLDB) 
      Datawarehousing Applications 
      Oracle Parallel Server for both MPP and Clustered Platforms 
      Applications Benchmarks (Oracle Apps, BAAN, Peoplesoft and SAP) 
      OLTP benchmarks with high user counts 
      Parallel Query Optimizations
