Michael,
Take a look at Platinum's TSreorg product. It runs on various flavors of
Unix. I did look at their web page & it says it's supported on Digital
Unix. I've used it on HP-UX versions 9 and 10 successfully on large
databases (90G). It has it's good points and it's limitations but it is
meant for defragmenting tablespaces / tables. It's not cheap, either.
They're fairly proud of the product.
