NLS_CALENDAR problem

We have trouble to put "NLS_CALENDAR" initialization parameter in init.ora. If we use "alter session set nls_calendar=xxxx" , the session could be altered successfully.

Our plateform is Windows NT 4.0, Oracle's version is 7.3.2. The error message is:

SVRMGR> startup
LCC-00122: unrecognized keyword [NLS_CALENDAR] ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters

Any help would be very much appreciated. Please send email to us if possible.
