POSITION #: HSL970701 Hutchinson Smiley Limited requires a number of skilled systems professionals with strong POWERBUILDER and ORACLE V7 development experience to assist one of our clients on a contract basis. This project involves new development initiative employing a RAD approach for a PowerBuilder 5, PFC, ORACLE and Watcom environment and will involve all phases of the development lifecycle.

Contracts to begin early August 1997 and will have an initial duration of 7 months, renewable.

Mandatory skills: strong expertise in designing, developing and testing PowerBuilder 5.0 applications, including PFC Library, solid experience with RAD Prototyping using PowerBuilder 5, PFC and Watcom/SQLAnywhere5, good experience in SQL programming ([prefer ORACLE V7.3), strong experience with ORACLE V7, experience with lower CASE Tools (S-Designer, ERWin, ORACLE CASE or LBMS SE), solid expereience in the design and development of effective and user friendly GUI applications, experience with technical set-up and testing skills, experience with the systems development lifecycle, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with Internet/Intranet considered an asset.
