Oracle DBA Position opening

Holy Cross Health System (HCHS) is seeking an ORACLE Database Administrator and an OLAP Technical Specialist to staff a new Service Model at our Corporate Office. Sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, HCHS is a not-for-profit, Catholic health system, with member organizations nationwide. Database Administrator (ORACLE)

Manage and maintain all production and non-production relational and non-relational databases . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area. Certified Oracle DBA preferred. Experience with OLAP Essbase preferred. Five to seven years of data processing or other appropriate experience required with a minimum of 2 years as an Oracle DBA.  Prior experience with PeopleSoft preferred. Prior experience with Arbor Essbase preferred. Possesses a working knowledge of the H/P Unix Operating system.

OLAP Technical Specialist

Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of existing OLAP (On line analytical programming) applications and the design and development of new applications. Serves as a support resource to end-users of the OLAP applications to help resolve issues related to the supported application and design and create new reports. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Accounting. Experience with OLAP Essbase working essential. Experience working with Financial Applications (Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Managerial Reporting, Budgeting) preferred.

Candidate must have experience in systems development as well as strong knowledge of accounting. 4+ years experience in systems development. Experience in one or more of the following areas: OLAP software products
(Arbor, Comshare, Pilot, Oracle). Windows client/server development tools
(Visual Basic, Powerbuilder, Delphi) or relational database experience
(Oracle, SQL Server). Should have knowledge of ability to integrate ideas
and concepts into architectural designs of complex minicomputer and networked client-server systems. Possesses a working knowledge of the IBM RISC and H/P UNIX operating system.
