Knowledge Engineering Pte Ltd, a premier software development company,
specializes in the application of object-oriented technologies,
Artificial Intelligence, computer graphics, wireless communications and
RDBMS to real-world problems. We develop generic software products,
undertake turnkey projects and consultancy for clients primarily in the
transportation, manufacturing and communication-services sectors. The
systems we have developed make innovative use of state-of-the-art
technologies, including graphics capabilities, search and
constraint-based
optimization and other AI techniques, wireless communications and
client-server and intranet architecture.
We are looking for highly motivated computer professionals who are flexible enough to carry out a wide range of tasks ranging from software research, analysis and design, implementation, documentation and testing to customer liaison, support and training. These positions offer excellent prospect for individual growth, providing you with challenging and beneficial experience in emerging technologies.
Are you the one we are looking for?
All interested candidates should possess the following:
- A degree or higher degree in Computer Science/EE.
- Sound knowledge of C++, UNIX and object-oriented analysis and design methodologies.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in software development.
In addition, the following skills are highly desirable for each of the following positions:
Project Managers
- Working experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies, constraint-based systems or wireless communications would be highly regarded.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, users and all levels of management.
- Experience in managing/developing complex systems using state-of-the-art technologies.
Software Engineers (Artificial Intelligence)
- Working experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies, constraint-based systems or expert systems would be highly regarded.
- Experience in implementing planning and scheduling systems, especially in a transportation, manufacturing or communication-services environment, would be advantageous.
Software Engineers (Wireless Communications)
- Good working knowledge of Real-time operating systems.
- Experience in communications protocol programming such as DECT, ISDN and/or GSM.
- Knowledge of modern communications systems
Software Engineers (Computer Graphics)
- Good working knowledge of X Windows, MFC, Interviews, ILOG Views or
JAVA.
- Familiarity with RDBMS.
Software Engineers (Database)
- Working experience with Oracle, CA-Ingres, Sybase, O2 or ObjectStore.
