The current version of Designer/2000 supports an "Object layer generator," which
will create a library of C++ classes (apparently) calling the OCI layer directly
from the data model(s) in the CASE repository.

The class library appears to be rather well done. The next release of Designer,
3.2.1 (?) will support generation for UNIX; currently, only 32-bit windows using
MSVC is supported.

If there's anyone out there that's used these libraries for Windows *or* UNIX
programming, I'd be delighted to hear from them.
