Following is the list of functionality of common commands:   

> tkprof

  It is used to analyse the results generated by setting SQL_TRACE = TRUE

> demobld

  It is used to set up database environment for SQL*Plus Design Tutorial

> demodrop

  It is used to drop the database environment set by demobld

> oraenv

  It is used to setup the Oracle environment for bash users.

> tnslsnr

  Oracle listener process

> orapwd

  To manipulate the Oracle user passwords with SYSDBA or SYSOPER system privileges.

> tnsping

  To test the TNS connection just like the ping command to test the hosts.

> exp

  Database export

> maid.1.release

  Web Server will call this program when starts.

> coraenv

  It is used to setup the Oracle Environment for C shell users.

> names

  Oracle name server process.

> namesctl

  Oracle name server control utility

> sqlldr

  SQL*Loader

> wlctl

  Web Server control utility

> sqlplus

  SQL*Plus

> dbshut

  It is used to shut down Oracle databases.

> svrmgrl

  Server Manager (line mode)

> imp

  Database import

> wrap

  Procedure wrapper

> dbstart

  It is used to start Oracle databases.
