Paging solution for Oracle/Financial environment

I will like to implement a paging & email interface to our Oracle database instances running under SUN SPARC Solaris environment. My goal is to find out about the problem with our environment before anybody else find out. I have following questions.

• Please describe your experience with paging solution. (ex. how are u using, how helpful it is, how long have been using, etc)
• Who are the leading vendors in this field and what is roughly startup cost?
• Have you written any custom shell or sql scripts to get the Oracle message and alerts to your alphanumeric pager? If yes, can you send me the sample copy of it?
• We are using Oracle Financial package. Has anybody written the programs to get Concurrent Manager messages to the pager?
