Client/Server with Forms 3.0

Our application is based on Forms 3.0 with Oracle 7.1.6.x. We our considering implementing the following system architecture for a customer, because of the investment hardware and the retail market segment our customers are in we have not moved to Forms 4.5. We will be setting the TWOTASK variable to the service name of the server corporate database. All database requests will be serviced by the database server at the corporate. The ISP will only be running the Forms 3.0 application. We have benchmarked our application in a Client/Server arrangement with two nodes, one node running the forms 3.0 application another node servicing the DB request, with a 100meg LAN, over which SQL*Net traffic was sent between nodes. Now we wish to move the client out to a remote site. The database at the ISP will ONLY be used in a fail-over situation when the network connection to the corporate offices is lost.

My questions are:
- Any potential problems with the configuration.
- Any performance issues related with Forms 3.0 and SQLNET 3.0 over a WAN?
- Any problems with Forms 3.0 use over a WAN.
- Whats the best way to perform DBA functions in this configuration? OEM?
- Any bandwidth requirements estimates?
