Hi there,
Set SQL_NET.EXPIRE_TIME at $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/sqlnet.ora to a non zero value. The value is expressed in minutes.
If you set the value to '3', every 3 minutes a process cleans up all hanging Oracle sessions.
