Real time database access from Web

Hotrock Software Pty Ltd has just released PERENTIE, a tool which enables real time interactive database access from a web page.

Using ActiveX technology, Perentie is a universal database access tool for ODBC compliant databases. It has been developed to allow people to interact with databases over the Internet or intranets in real time, whilst maintaining the security inherent in the database(s) being accessed.

To insert Perentie into a web page requires no programming.

Perentie allows the user of the web page to query, view, edit, add or delete data over the Internet or corporate intranets, depending on the level of security on the database(s) being accessed through Perentie.
