I would like to know a simple answer, too.

What HW platform do you have in mind?

I play with Oracle Power Objects, Developer/2000, SecondWind(Excel), MSQuery(Excel), Visual FoxPro to name a few. My problem is, that whatever I create, I have to port to MacPPC.
