Tuxedo Meter is a monitoring tool for Tuxedo applications (a three tier client/server application). It is written in Java (Java application, not Java applet). It runs on any UNIX platform. You can use its GUI to select servers/queues to monitor. The selected items are shown like meters. The program does not write nor modify any thing on your system. The program does not require any changes on your application.

How to run:

This is a Java application, not an applet. Type (case sensitive):

   java TM $ROOTDIR

Minimum requirements:

  Java 1.02 or later installed.
  A running Tuxedo application.

To run it, you need be:
  on master machine.
a Tuxedo administrator (correct group id and user id)   under valid directory (environment variables are set)  to check if you meet all the requirements, simply run:

     tmadmin -r
when you get into it (without password), type

     printserver
If you can see servers, your Tuxedo system is okay.
