When you installed the product you should have also installed the online documentation. The tools documentation talks about how to use the database manager, and the other GUI tools. The server documentation talks about the commands you use within SQL*DBA.

As there are a number of ways of using the Oracle server it is best if go through the online documentation specifically the tools manual, server administration manual and the concepts manual.
