Q. Has anyone exported directly to tape ?

Hi,

Has anyone directly exported a full database to tape ? My specific question is if "exp" is able to resolve tape ends ? I am using Oracle 7.2.2.

I don't have a test system/database with enough data/space to fit a few gigs. But eventually I 'm going totry it out. But if someone has the experience and would like to share/warn, please do.
