Hi,
I read an article in Select recently and it stated that SQL*Loader does not use the 1st extent when loading a table. The context of the article was Oracle7 Parallel Query option. My own experience (without PQO) is that we have tables with only 1 extent, and SQL*Loader seems to work fine. What are the circumstances under which it doesn't use the 1st extent?
