It already has been. There are now c.d.p.server,c.d.o.tools,c.d.o.misc and c.d.o.marketplace. Articles should be cross-posted to this group and *ONE* of the other groups for the time being. This group will be withdrawn in about 2 months.

As for getting rid of 'trash' I suspect it won't work. There are four things which could be considered trash - spam, jobs postings , studpid questions and wrong answers,

There is nothing that can be done about spam.

The other groups are already full of job postings (all job postings should be in c.d.o.marketplace)

Stupid questions are what usenet is all about.

The one that really irritates me is wrong answers, especially where it is obvious that the respondent hasn't understood the original post.
