In case you are not aware, there is an init.ora parameter, NLS_DATE_FORMAT, which will allow you to change the default date mask. We have recently changed this parameter to avoid problems with year 2000 and it has worked out well. Hope this helps. Received on Thu Oct 24 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
