VB4 Enterprise or VB4 Pro + OO4O

My application will be doing a lot of queries on remote ORACLE databases, but no updates and other statements. Query performance is critical. I am considering to use either VB4 Pro + ORACLE Objects for OLE, or VB4 Enterprise which Microsoft says is optimized for remote SQL Server and ORACLE accees. I have no idea which one would be better. Any experiences, opinions?
