Migration from OS2 to IRIX

Hello,

We are migrating from OS2 2.11 Oracle v7.1 to SGI IRIX Oracle v7.3. This is our plan

1) Install Oracle v7.3 on the SGI box
2) Create a new database, with the same tablespaces as the one old
3) Export the old database COMPRESS =Y
4) Import the into the new database

Any advise/suggestions. It seems like I am missing something, I am just not sure what. Also what has to change in the application that uses this database?
