Hi Joe,

    To my opinion (as a DBA) it's easier to maintain one instance on one server:
a single place to maintain users, upgrades etc. OK, you have a problem (2 actually) if it crashes, but it shouldn't. It is easier for the Forms-people, you don't have to initiate new sessions from the same app or worse maintain databaselinks to the other database's objects.
