Look at JAM Web 2.0 from JYACC, Tango/Butler, Spider, Cold Fusion, Sapphire/Web, etc.

Most of these work with Oracle, and some will be kinder to your machine.

If your machine is running out of memory, this could be due to caching, or maintaining lots of connections, or starting up too many oracle-clients,etc. These are all no-no's, and should be avoided if possible.

You might be able to avoid these problems with Oracle Webserver, and you definately can with the alternatives.
