We want to buy a decision support RDBMS and have been told that oracle cannot do bitmapped indexes properly ( they are too SLOWWWW !! ) compared to sysbase IQ.
Can anyone offer anything to support or deny this ??
Is anyone actually using bitmapped indexes ?? (not just playing around with them)
