Oracle Parallel Server on the IBM SP has several large sites which are in the 500GB to 1TB range now. At the CPP conference in Chicago a couple of weeks ago, the customers who presented included USWest, John Alden Insurance, La Caixa (Spanish Bank), Federal Express and Shopko.

There are many other large database references for Oracle such as Fingerhut, but these are more distributed architecutres, not parallel ones necessarily.
