I have installed 7.3 on HP.
* There should be a directory named ORAINST on the cd.
*In that directory there should be a file named START.SH or
STARTUP.SH. *The execution of this file will ask you for the name of
your link directory, you'll need about 70 mb for all the links this
file will create.
*You should then able to cd /<link directory path>/orainst and run
./orainst from this directoy.
These steps were not documented but they are similar to the AIX install, that were I got the idea to look for the START.SH script.
