We have used it in A DEC Alpha and INTEL Platforms I cannot comment on other platforms.

 When running in development mode TCP/IP crashes occasionally on the ALPHA  One of our clients however runs in on a Pentium 90 with 32MB Ram and SCSI  Hard Disk system and has no Problems.  

The main difference bing they run only TCP/IP Protocol.
